While they will be sorely missed, their spirit-filled lives leave our community stronger and more loving because of the time they spent among us.

Quotes and Poems

WHY SILENCE

We wrap ourselves

In silence

So we might

More clearly hear

The whisper

Of our inner spirit

Asking us of what we do.

We listen not for words

But for the hints

That guide ourselves

Toward that which is

The best we might become.

Paul Weaver, 2019

Our life is love, and peace, and tenderness; and bearing one with another, and forgiving one another, and not laying accusations one against another, but praying one for another, and helping one another up with a tender hand.

Isaac Penington, Letters, 1667
